Tyler hails from Unicoi, Tennessee and is a graduate of Unicoi County High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Milligan College. He is currently in the Master of Arts in Counseling program at East Tennessee State University, his emphasis being in school counseling.
